Evanston Regional Hospital Welcomes Dr. Jared B. Barton to its Surgical Team

Evanston, WY (Feb. 13, 2025)—Evanston Regional Hospital (ERH) is pleased to announce that it has acquired Uinta General Surgery. As part of this, Jared B. Barton, MD, MPH, MHA, FACS, a board-certified general surgeon, will continue serving the Evanston community as a member of the medical staff at ERH.

With more than 15 years of experience serving the Evanston area, Dr. Barton, a specialist in minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, brings his surgical skills and deep community roots to improve local access to surgical services.

He is dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care and fostering open communication with his patients. He specializes in general surgery procedures, including:

  • Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic Surgery
  • Endoscopy (EGD & Colonoscopy)
  • Hernia Repair
  • Gallbladder Surgery
  • Appendectomy
  • Hemorrhoid Treatment
  • Intestinal Surgery
  • Treatment of skin lesions, lipomas, and cysts

Dr. Barton earned his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
