We believe you should have choices in how to deliver and care for your baby. We encourage you to share your birth plan with us. We have three birthing suites for labor and delivery include a bathroom, shower, sleeper/recliner chair, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and more.

After Baby Arrives

Once your baby makes his or her debut, we believe you both deserve some rest. We encourage mom and baby to room together. We offer you and your new family a golden hour (or as much time as you want) of quiet time immediately following delivery so you can bond, nurse, touch skin to skin, and celebrate with your little bundle of joy.

The three private mother/baby (postpartum) rooms include a bathroom, shower, sleeper/recliner chairs, pull-out couch, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs and more.

At the Evanston Regional Hospital Birthing Center, the comfort of new mothers comes first. When a new mother wants and needs rest, a team member will kindly explain that she has requested some time alone. We encourage extended family and friends to call ahead and ask the nurses for a convenient time to make a brief visit.
