At Evanston Regional Hospital, we have board-certified technologists that capture quality images and ensure the comfort and safety of patients. These images are used to examine and diagnose certain medical conditions.

In 2017, Evanston Regional Hospital completed an extensive upgrade to the MRI. The new MRI system provides a higher quality image with 3D motion correction abilities. The result is a quieter, more comfortable experience for patients.

Evanston Regional Hospital uses the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), technology that helps make imaging more accurate and convenient for both patients and doctors. There is no film to develop, so a radiologist can easily access your results, whether he or she is on site or at a remote location

In 2019, Evanston Regional Hospital upgraded to 3D mammography (tomosynthesis). This technology is superior for women with dense breasts and provides better, earlier breast cancer detection compared to 2D alone.
